Complete your certification with real-world diving experience.
The final step in your NAUI Open Water Diver course is completing your checkout dives—a series of four open water dives conducted over two days under the supervision of a certified instructor.
This is where everything you’ve learned comes together, giving you the opportunity to demonstrate your skills in a real dive environment and earn your full scuba certification.

Use of regulator, BCD, Computer, weights, compass, and tanks included

What You’ll Need:

Proof of completed eLearning and pool/classroom training

Mask, snorkel, fins, boots, and dive log

Towels, snacks, water, and appropriate gear for the weather

Local Checkout Dives – $250: Scheduled throughout the year at designated training dive sites.

Florida Travel Checkout Dives – Premium Pricing: Offered during winter months for those who prefer warmer water and a destination experience. Dates and pricing vary.
Important Notes:

You must have completed both eLearning and pool/classroom training before scheduling your checkout dives.

Gear must be in good working condition and within the manufacturer’s recommended service interval.

Waivers must be signed prior to diving.
